Registered Massage Therapy
The effects of massage therapy may provide physiological and psychological changes in nature.
Physiologically, when performed on a healthy person, massage therapy may increase flexibility, relaxation, and decrease stress levels. Psychologically, massage therapy may increase ones sense of well-being through therapeutic touch. Positive changes may also occur through areas of the body that have experienced trauma where swelling, restriction and pain may be present.
Massage therapy is generally recognized as an effective way of reducing or managing pain from a variety of conditions such as trauma, post-surgery, headaches, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and terminal illness.
Registered Massage Therapy with Cupping
Cupping therapy involves applying suction cups to the skin to enhance blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing. It is used to treat pain, improve circulation, and release fascial restrictions.
Common indications include musculoskeletal pain and inflammation, with minimal side effects like temporary bruising.
Registered Massage Therapy with IASTM
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a therapeutic technique using specialized tools to identify and treat fascial restrictions, scar tissue, and adhesions.
The instruments help enhance tissue mobility, promote healing, and reduce pain by stimulating circulation, improving collagen remodelling, and facilitating tissue regeneration in musculoskeletal conditions.
Registered Massage Therapy with Cupping and IASTM
Combined cupping and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) treatment involves the use of negative pressure via cupping to enhance blood flow and tissue relaxation, followed by IASTM to target fascial adhesions and muscle tightness.
This integrated approach promotes pain relief, improves mobility, and accelerates tissue healing.
Kinesiology Taping Assessment and Application
Kinesiology taping is a therapeutic technique that involves applying elastic adhesive tape to the skin. It supports muscles and joints, reduces pain, improves circulation, and enhances proprioception.
The tape lifts the skin, promoting lymphatic drainage and recovery, while allowing full range of motion without restricting movement.
***Please Note: Service offered w/ treatment or as a stand alone session. This option is only available for existing clients. $20 if you supply your own tape***
